Q.Can I use the GR-20 and GK-3 with a fretted instrument other than an electric guitar?

A.You can use the GR-20 and GK-3 with a steel-string acoustic guitar as long as the GK-3 divided pickup can be installed properly.

The GK-20 and GK-3 combination is not compatible with the following guitars and stringed instruments:

  • Guitars with a unique string orientation, such as 12-string guitars and pedal steels
  • Guitars that use nylon strings
  • Bass guitars
  • Any guitar that doesnft have enough space to install the GK-3
  • Non-guitar type instruments such as banjo, mandolin, or ukulele
