FS-5L

Q.I have a Roland/BOSS product that specifies the use of a BOSS FS-5U (unlatched-type) foot switch. Is it possible to use a BOSS FS-5L (latched-type) foot switch instead?

A.In most cases, the FS-5L should not be substituted for an FS-5U. If a Roland or BOSS product specifies the use of an FS-5U, connecting an FS-5L won't hurt anything. However, you'll have to press the FS-5L twice to perform a foot switch-controlled operation. This is impractical for normal use, and is not recommended.
