Q.The Fantom-X Audio Track Expansion and Fantom-XR Sample Tools Expansion Kits come with Version 2 Fantom-X Editor software. Can I use the Version 2 Editor to edit the settings of a Fantom-X6/X7/X8/XR that doesn’t have an expansion kit installed?

A.The Fantom-X Audio Track Expansion and Fantom-XR Sample Tools Expansion Kits update the Fantom-X main units to Version 2 firmware. The included Version 2 Fantom-X Editor software will only work with a Fantom-X6/X7/X8/XR that has been updated to Version 2.

To edit a Version 1 Fantom-X6/X7/X8/XR from a PC, use the Version 1 Fantom-X Editor software included with the Fantom-X6/X7/X8/XR.
