Q.In a Fantom-X series instrument, can the volume of each tone in a rhythm set be adjusted individually?

A.Yes. In a Fantom-X series instrument, the volume of each tone in a rhythm set can be adjusted individually using the “Tone Level” parameter.

    On the Fantom-X6/7/8:
  1. From the Patch Play screen, select the desired part (keyboard or pads), and then select a rhythm set for that part.
  2. Press [PATCH EDIT].
  3. Press [F2 ] and/or [F1] to select the TVA tab.
  4. Use the cursor buttons to highlight Tone Level.
  5. Play the keyboard or pads to select the desired rhythm tone, and then use the VALUE dial to adjust its volume.

    On the Fantom-XR:
  1. From the Patch Play screen, select a rhythm set.
  2. Hold [SHIFT] and press the down cursor button [EDIT].
  3. Use the cursor buttons to select the TVA icon, and then press [ENTER].
  4. Use the cursor buttons to select the Tone Level screen.
  5. Use a MIDI keyboard or sequencer connected to the Fantom-XR to select the desired rhythm tone, and then use the VALUE dial to adjust its volume.

    On the Fantom-Xa:
  1. From the Patch Play screen, select the desired part (keyboard or pads), and then select a rhythm set for that part.
  2. Press [PATCH EDIT].
  3. Press [F5 (TVA)].
  4. Press [F1 (TVA PRM)].
  5. Play the keyboard or pads to select the desired rhythm tone, and then use the VALUE dial to adjust its volume.
Note:
Make sure you store the edited rhythm set to a user or card location if you want to save your changes.
