Q.The FA-66 has two types of Firewire connectors; how are they different?

A.The FA-66 has two types of Firewire connector: a 6-pin and a 4-pin.

The 6-pin connector provides bus power. Use a 6-pin/6-pin cable to connect it to the 6-pin Firewire connector of your computer to use your FA-66 without the included AC adapter. Normally you will use this connector.

If your computer's Firewire connector is a 4-pin type, use the included 4-pin/6-pin cable to make connections and power the device with the included AC adapter.

Use the 4-pin connector to daisey-chain another FireWire peripheral through the FA-66.
