Q.Is the FireWire connector of the FA-101 compatible with the I-Link connector of SONY VAIO-series PCs?

A.I-Link connectors of SONY's are designed based on the IEEE 1394 standard, to be compatible with FireWire connectors. Therefore you can use the FireWire cable that comes with the FA-101 to connect your FA-101 to the I-Link connector on your SONY VAIO.
