Q.What are the features of the DS-1 and the DS-2?

A.The DS-1 delivers the original BOSS distortion sound.

The DS-2 provides a TURBO knob that lets you switch between two turbo modes. Turbo I delivers the original BOSS distortion sound (like the DS-1), while Turbo II applies a unique filter to create a biting sound with a dramatically emphasized midrange boost.

If desired, you can connect a foot switch (sold separately) and use it to switch between Turbo I and Turbo II modes.
