A.Yes, you can. Using the DR-880’s Groove Modify feature,
you can adjust the “feel” of your own patterns to produce realistic rhythmic grooves
and the subtle expressive nuances of a real drummer’s performance.

Groove Modify provides three different functions:

1. Velocity modify--automatically adjusts the accent levels of the beats in a pattern,
   simulating a real drummer’s playing feel.
2. Ghost note--allows you to add “ghost notes” to a pattern,
   enhancing the pattern’s realism and groove.
3. Shuffle--creates a shuffle rhythm feel
   by adjusting the timing of the pattern’s backbeats.
