Q.The Cat5e Ethernet cables used for the Digital Snake have RJ45 plugs; are special high-reliability plugs available?

A.Yes. The REAC ports on the Digital Snake can accept standard RJ45 plugs, or RJ45 plugs housed in EtherCon connectors made by Neutrik Corporation. An EtherCon connector provides a robust latching connection similar to a male XLR plug.

Note:
EtherCon connectors are used in the optional SC-W100W Cat5e cable.
