Q.How can I get the 3-way triggering feature and have the bow, bell and edge shot?

A.Check the TD-10 to see if it has been upgraded with the TDW-1.

  • You will only be able to get the 3-way triggering feature with the TD-10 having the TDW-1 w/ V-Cymbal Control Expansion Board inside. First check the TD-10 to see if it has the TDW-1 expansion board installed. Next, connect the BOW/BELL output of the CY-15R to the RIDE input of the TD-10, and the BOW/EDGE output to the AUX1 input.
  • Set the TD-10 to Trigger Bank 2 by pressing SETUP, F1 for Trigg, F1 for bank and turn the VALUE Dial to #2.

You can get the 3-way triggering feature to work with other units by using the TMC-6 Trigger MIDI Converter to play the sounds through MIDI.
