Q.The CM-30 is equipped with a single speaker, yet the CH 2, CH 3, and AUX inputs can accept stereo signals. Can I hear a stereo output from the CM-30's single speaker?

A.No. Stereo sound reproduction requires two speakers, as well as separate amplification systems for each speaker.

When stereo signals are connected to the CH 2, CH 3, and AUX inputs, they will be combined and heard as monaural signals from the CM-30's single internal speaker alone. However, the true stereo sound can be heard when a second CM-30 is connected via the Stereo Link function, or when the sound is monitored via headphones connected to the CM-30's PHONES jack.
