Q.Can I listen to the CD-2's metronome as a guide tone through headphones while recording with the internal microphones or an external microphone? Also, can I overdub the microphone input with a previously recorded song on a CF card?

A.Yes. The CD-2 allows you to output the metronome sound only to the headphones and AUX OUT jacks during recording. (The metronome sound is not recorded when you do so.) This is convenient when you want to listen to the metronome as a rhythm guide during recording. The only time the CD-2's metronome cannot be used is when overdubbing the microphone input with the playback of a music CD.
