Q.I've connected an electric guitar to the CD-2's GUITAR jack and a microphone to the MIC 2 jack. Can I simultaneously apply a guitar-type effect to the electric guitar and a voice-type effect to the vocal and record them together?

A.Yes, you can.
Some of the guitar-type effects provided on the CD-2 are designed for simultaneous recording of a guitar and a microphone. For these applications, use one of the following eight guitar + vocal effects:

S-PZO+DL EFX
SIM+50msDL
SIM+HVY CM
H-ENH+LNG DL
