Q.Is there data compatibility between the BR-600, BR-900CD, BR-864, and BR-532 models?

A.The following diagram indicates the data compatibility between the BR-600, BR-900CD, BR-864, and BR-532 models.



  • Arrows in this diagram indicate the direction in which data can be loaded.
    - There is bi-directional data compatibility between the BR-600 and BR-900CD.
    - The BR-600 and BR-900CD can read data from the BR-864 and BR-532.
    - The BR-864 cannot read data from the BR-600 or BR-900CD, but can read data from the BR-532.
    - The BR-532 cannot read data from the BR-600, BR-900CD, or BR-864.
  • The BR-532 uses SmartMedia as its storage medium, while the BR-600, BR-900CD, and BR-864 use CompactFlash. In order to read BR-532 data on a BR-600/BR-900CD/BR-864, you'll need to use a computer and a card reader to copy the data from SmartMedia to CompactFlash.
