A.The BR-16000CD features two headphone outputs: PHONES 1 and PHONES 2. PHONES 1
always outputs the same signal as that sent to the LINE OUT jacks. However, PHONES 2 can be
set independently.
Use the following procedure to turn the metronome on, set LINE OUT/PHONES 1 to output only
the song playback, and set PHONES 2 to output only the metronome sound.
- Press [TRACK TYPE SELECT].
- Press [F4], and then select "METRONOME."
- Repeatedly press Track button [15/16] until it lights or flashes.
(When Track [15/16] lights solid,
the metronome will sound continuously. When it flashes green, the metronome will sound when
the BR-1600CD is playing. When it flashes red, the metronome sounds only during recording.)
- Press [UTILITY].
- Select the "SYSTEM" icon and then press [ENTER/YES].
- In the "METRONOME" area, move the cursor to "LINE/Phones1" and use the TIME/VALUE
dial to choose "OFF."
- In the "METRONOME" area, move the cursor to "Phones2" and use the TIME/VALUE dial to
choose "METRONOME ONLY."
Note:
If you want to hear both the song playback and the metronome sound from PHONES2,
choose "ON" in Step 7.
