Q.Can I import an SMF file from my computer into the BR-1600CD through the USB connection?

A.No. The BR-1600CD can only import SMF files that are stored on a CD-R/RW disc. Direct importation via USB is not possible.

To get the SMF file from your computer, burn it to a CD-R/RW disc first (using ISO9660 Level 2, Mode 1 format). Then, insert the disc into the BR-1600CD's disc drive and use the SMF Import function to import the desired data into a bass or drum pattern.
