Q.I'm creating a bass pattern on the BR-1600CD, and I'm using the Track buttons to input notes. However, the 12 Track buttons only cover a single octave. How do I enter notes in different octaves?

A.While recording your bass pattern (from either the BASS EDIT: REALTIME RECORD or BASS EDIT: STEP RECORD screens), use the up and down cursor buttons to shift the octave range of the Track buttons. The current octave shift setting (-2, -1, 0, +1, +2) is shown in the right side of the display.
