Q.Can I use the AD-8 with a guitar that has a magnetic pickup (as opposed to a piezo pickup)?

A.Yes, this will work. However, the tone and effects of the AD-8 are optimized for use with a piezo pickup. If you connect a guitar with a magnetic pickup, the guitar tone and the effects may sound different when compared to the sound you'll get using a piezo pickup.
