Q.When the AC-3's effect is on, I want to send its output to a PA system; when the AC-3 is bypassed, I want to send its output to a guitar amp. Is this possible?

A.Yes, this is possible.

The AC-3 provides two different output jacks:

LINE OUT--- for connection to a PA system or a recorder (BOSS BR-series or similar).
G.AMP OUT--- for connection to a guitar amp.

Connect the LINE OUT and G.AMP OUT jacks to your PA system and guitar amp as shown in the diagram.
When you switch the AC-3 on/off, the output will automatically be changed as shown.

When the AC-3's effect is on:

The CHECK indicator lights, the output of the G.AMP OUT jack is muted, and the effect sound (the acoustic guitar sound) is output from the LINE OUT jack.

When the AC-3's effect is off:

The CHECK indicator is unlit, the guitar sound is output from the G.AMP OUT jack, and the output of the LINE OUT jack is muted.
