String Quartet

To hear the position of each instrument clearly, I adjusted the balance to emphasize Track 1 (XY). Overall, I felt the sound lacked enough ambience, so added a bit of reverb.

As a whole, the lower midrange tones are strong, creating a slightly muddy sound. I inserted an equalizer to adjust this frequency area and create a clearer presentation.

Equalizer—Inserted on the MIX Bus, with a -2.2 dB cut at 180 Hz to reduce the lower midrange frequencies.

Reverb—Added with a -10.0 dB SEND on the MIX bus. The DECAY TIME is set around 2.3 seconds.
