Can synchronization messages such as MIDI Clock or MTC be passed through a MIDI interface (or the MIDI interface built into a product) made by Roland/Edirol?
Yes.
MIDI interfaces (or the MIDI interfaces built into products) made by Roland/Edirol will pass the incoming MIDI messages to your computer without change. This means that synchronization messages can also be transmitted and received. (In the case of the SD-20, only received.)
※However, FE and undefined MIDI messages are not implemented.
If your sequencer supports MTC and/or MIDI Clock transmission and reception, it can be synchronized with a MIDI interface made by Roland/Edirol.
