Installing SD-20 Editor Microsoft (R) Windows Vista (TM)
The SD-20 Editor allows for extensive and convenient control of the SD-20 module from a computer.
[Note]
The SD-20 Editor programs themselves are provided on the CD-ROM included with your product.
[Installation]
Install the software as follows.
* Before you carry out the following steps, you must log
on to Windows as a user whose account type is Administrator.
1. Close all currently running software (applications).
2. In the [EDITOR] folder of the SD-20 CD-ROM, double-click "SETUP."
3. "An unidentified program wants access to your computer"
will appear click [allow].
4. When "Choose Setup Language" appears, choose [English(United
States)] and click [OK].
6. The installer will start up. When the "Welcome to the
InstallShield Wizard for SD-20 Editor" screen appears, click
[Next].
7. A screen will indicate "Please read the following license
agreement carefully." Read the license agreement, and if
you accept the terms, click [Yes].
8. The "Customer Information" screen will appear, input
your information and click [Next].
9. The "Choose Destination Location" screen will appear.
If you accept the default location, click [Next].
If you want to change the installation destination, click
[Browse] and specify the desired folder.
10. When "Setup Type" appears, select [Typical] and
click [Next].
11. In the "Confirmation of installation" screen, verify
that the settings shown are correct, and click [Next]. If you
decide to specify a different installation location, click [Back].
12. When the files have been copied, the "InstallShield Wizard
Complete" screen will appear. Click [Finish].
This completes installation of SD-20 Editor.
[Usage]
In Windows, choose [start].[All Programs].[SD-20 Editor].[SD-20
Editor].
Refer to the online help for an explanation of SD-20 Editor's
functions.
[Uninstallation]
* In order to uninstall software, you must log on to Windows as a user who has administrative privileges.
1. Click the Windows Start button, then click Control Panel.
2. In "Programs," click "Uninstall a program."
3. In the "Uninstall or change a program" list, click
"PCR Editor."
4. Click [Uninstall].
5. When the "Windows needs your permission to continue"
screen appears, click [Continue].
6. Follow the on-screen directions to uninstall the software.
