The “Brains” Behind the Flagship V-drums Systems.

A dramatic advancement in the world of electronic percussion, the V-Drums TD-10 Percussion Sound Module is the cumulative result of over 25 years of musical instrument research and design. Combining a revolutionary sound engine based on proprietary Composite Object Sound Modeling(COSM) technology and ultra-expressive V-Editing, the V-Drums TD-10 module gives drummers unparalleled sound quality and the most intuitive electronic percussion interface on the planet.

  • - Extremely easy to use via six faders, large value dial, icon-based programming and backlit graphic LCD
  • - Lightning-fast trigger response; amazingly accurate detection of stick velocity, position and speed
  • - Positional sensing allows for triggering of sounds with natural timbral difference depending on location of drum hit
  • - 600 amazing drum sounds and 54 melody instruments; 50 full drum kits; built-in sequencer with 4-part backing band
  • - Comprehensive reverb, EQ, compression, and ambience effects
  • - 12 dual-trigger inputs and 8 outputs (4 stereo pairs)
  • - Compatible with Roland Compact Drum System pads(PD-6/PD-7/PD-9) as well as PD-80/PD-80R/PD-100/PD-120 V-Pads, KD-80/KD-120 V-Kick, KD-7 Kick Trigger Unit and V-Cymbals (CY-12H/14C/15R, CY-12R/C).*
  • *Requires TDW-1 with V-Cymbal Control for full compatibility.

Incredible Playability

Once sounds have been selected and shaped using V-Editing (see below), they can be played with maximum expression and nuance, thanks to the TD-10’s lightning-fast, super-accurate triggering with innovative Positional Sensing technology—giving you different timbres of sound depending upon the location of the drum hit. This feature alone translates into a supremely realistic playing experience beyond other electronic percussion systems.

A World of Sounds

The TD-10 starts with over 650 amazing sounds and 50 full drum kits with four assignable percussion groups. These drum and instrument sounds range from vintage rock and jazz drum kits to world percussion instruments and fresh new electronic sounds, making the TD-10 perfect for all types of music. Once the specific instruments in your kit have been selected, you can “model” every element of each drum sound as desired—just like walking into the ultimate drum shop and building your dream set, one piece at a time.

V-Editing: Shaping Your Sound, One Drum at a Time

Ever wonder what a 20-inch wood snare drum would sound like in a cave? What about a 1-inch metal piccolo in your bathroom with an off-set condenser mic? Whereas other sound modules let drummers change only a few parameters of a preset drum sample, V-Editing lets you sonically “model” drum type, drum shell material, drum depth, drum head type, drum tuning, muffling, microphone type, microphone placement, room ambience, effects and EQ—all via an intuitive icon-driven user interface. So finally, you can shape your sounds in the environments of your choice, with complete control.
