The flagship HP207e offers an exquisite 88-key multi-sampled piano sound under the control of Roland’s new PHA II “Ivory Feel” keyboard with Escapement, along with key touch adjustable to 100 levels. A powerful and unique speaker system, a clear and easy-to-understand operation panel, front legs, and elegant European cabinet provide the look and sound of an acoustic piano with modern convenience. The cabinet is available in a Rosewood or Light Oak finish.

The flagship HP207e features Roland’s finest 88-key piano sound, with individual multisamples for every key and true-to-life piano resonance. It’s touch responsive to the subtlest pressure and nuance — from the deepest, most powerful bass to the most delicate highs.

PHA II Keyboard with Ivory Feel

For the most authentic acoustic grand piano feel, the HP207e is equipped with the new PHA II “Ivory Feel” keyboard with Escapement. This amazing keyboard technology reproduces the real feel of ivory for the natural keys and ebony for the sharps. It also offers the same natural response as a grand piano, with a heavier touch in the lower range and lighter touch in the upper, and with lighter resistance on pianissimo passages and stronger resistance on fortissimo just like a well-maintained acoustic grand. It even faithfully reproduces the escapement “click feel” of a grand-piano action.

Continuous Damper Pedal

The HP207e offers seamless continuous damper pedal control, allowing you to obtain the perfect amount of damping or attenuation at all times. Experience the most realistic and expressive piano performance.

Elegant Cabinet

The HP207e is built into an attractive, elegant cabinet with front legs for style and stability. Adding to the appeal are Roland’s gorgeous Rosewood and Light Oak finishes.

Omnidirectional Sound System

Unlike traditional direct-emitting loudspeakers, the HP207e employs a unique audio system that allows diffused omnidirectional sound emission. The player and the listener perceive the sound just as they would from a real acoustic grand. Volume issues are a thing of the past; you can simply adjust the volume of the internal sound system up or down to suit the environment.

Classic Position

The HP207e is built with an attractive half key-cover that slides out to cover the front-panel controls. This feature enhances the real-piano look while also protecting the controls from tampering.

“Piano Designer” Sound Customization

For those who wish to customize the HP207e’s piano sound to suit their personal taste, the Piano Designer feature allows friendly access to a variety of tone-shaping controls. Create the perfect custom sound, and save it for instant recall.

File Playback via USB

The HP207e can play songs by itself* — ideal for parties and gatherings. Simply import a Standard MIDI File via USB and enjoy as the keyboard plays the music automatically. Whether in a lounge or living room, hotel or concert hall, the HP207e will bring any environment to life. In addition, WAV files can be loaded and played from the HP207e.

*Note: The HP207e does not have the player-piano-type “moving keys” feature.

Play- and Sing-Along Features

More than just a great piano, the HP207e can also play back audio CDs from an optional USB-CD drive (commercially available in market) for play-along fun. There’s even a Center Cancel feature for minimizing pre-recorded vocals so you can play and sing along to your favorite CDs.
