The F-100 Digital Pianos has a remarkably realistic touch. It is built with Roland’s Progressive Hammer-Action Keyboard, our most advanced keyboard mechanism ever. Because it uses real hammers rather than springs, the 88 keys feel and respond just like an acoustic full concert grand piano—with a lighter touch in the upper range and a heavier touch in the lower range. The keyboard expresses every nuance of your fingers, and its touch response can even be adjusted to suit your personal finger strength.

The F-100 features Roland’s finest stereo-sampled full concert grand piano sounds, for the most realistic piano playing experience possible. The impressive onboard reverb function makes it sound like you’re playing in a concert hall. And with 64-voice polyphony there’s no worry about note cutoffs, even with heavy use of the damper pedal on classical pieces. From the clear, sparkling notes of the upper range to the powerful, vigorous reverberation of the lower range, the F-100 gives you unparalleled expression and the outstanding grand piano sounds found only in Roland instruments.

The powerful, high-performance speaker system features two independent left and right speaker boxes, providing better volume, superior sonic quality, and natural depth and ambiance. The speakers can be turned to face backwards, ensuring excellent sound no matter where you place your F-100 Digital Piano.

The F-100 incorporates a fully-adjustable internal metronome function. To make your piano performance that much more exciting, the F-100's special Rhythm function also lets you choose from 16 percussion instrument rhythm patterns to back up your playing, while also fostering a natural sense of rhythm and timing.

The F-100 offers many other features to enhance your piano playing experience. A variety of famous 60 classical piano pieces are also preset for listening or practice. You can change the tempo and play them, or mute either the left- or right-hand part to practice one hand at a time. Moreover, the built-in two-track recorder even lets you record and play back your performance to check how well you're doing.

For even more natural and comfortable piano fun, the F-100 features two functional pedals—a damper pedal and a soft pedal—which are fixed to the stand for stability while playing.

Piano, electric piano, harpsichord, strings and more: the onboard tones—20 in total on the F-100—are perfect for almost any style of music. For more options, you can use the Dual function for playing two different tones on top of one another. Or you can select from preset split-sound tones to play a different instrument tone with each hand.

With their sleek lines and simulated maple finish, the F-100 is both modern and classy; the simple design and light wood grain finish are at home in the living room, study or children’s room. Its compact size (about 30 cm deep) means that these 88-note instruments can fit just about anywhere. The F-100 comes with a smart-looking, transparent acrylic music stand, and a simple, modern champagne-gold keyboard cover to keep the keys safe from dust and spills.

Dual front-mounted headphone jacks permit silent practice day or night for up to two players. A stereo input lets you play along with CDs and other sound sources, while a stereo output makes it possible to play the F-100’s remarkable sound through a home audio system.
