The free Roland CUBE JAM app turns your iOS device into a fun command center for jamming, recording, and learning. Play back songs and minus-one tracks through the CUBE Lite, Guitar Amplifier via i-CUBE Link, and then riff along for hours with the amp’s awesome the COSM tones. CUBE JAM also records audio through the i-CUBE LINK connection, allowing you to easily capture phrases and song ideas.

How to Enjoy CUBE JAM

1. Connect your iOS device to the CUBE Lite

With the CUBE Lite’s included cable, connect your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch to i-CUBE LINK jack on the amp’s rear panel.

About i-CUBE LINK

i-CUBE LINK is a convenient iOS audio interface that’s built into the CUBE Lite series. It’s very simple to use—just connect the audio jack of your favorite iOS device to the i-CUBE Link jack on the CUBE Lite with a single cable. Then, blend your instrument’s tones and iOS audio together on the amp with simple, intuitive controls. You can also use i-CUBE LINK to play through any iOS guitar app and monitor the sound with high quality through the CUBE Lite’s impressive 2.1 Channel speaker system.

2. Import a song from iTunes.

Launch the CUBE JAM app, and then tap the [Library] button in the Song List window to import any song from your iTunes library.

3. Start jamming and recording!

Play your own solos on classic tracks

Turn on Center Cancel to remove a center-panned guitar solo in your favorite song, and then play it yourself.

Slow down fast riffs for learning

With the Speed Change function, you can slow down fast passages, making them easy to hear and learn.

Master difficult phrase

With a couple of touchscreen taps, A/B Repeat lets you play a song section over and over to build your skills by practicing parts repeatedly.

Instantly capture cool riffs and ideas

Play along with any song in CUBE JAM and record the results. After recording, adjust the balance of the original track and your guitar, and then touch MIXDOWN to capture your final mix.

4. Share your mix

Share your mix with band members and friends by exporting to a cloud app like Dropbox.

By exporting to Roland’s “Show Your Music”, you can easily publish your songs along with pictures and movies to your favorite social networking sites.*
