Based on its "Environmental Philosophy" and "Environmental Principles," Roland has established an Organization system for driving environmental activities. These activities are lead by a person in charge of environmental management and are designed to take on the task of environmental conservation.

Additionally, in order to reduce the impact of our operations on the environment, we have acquired "ISO14001" certification, an international standard for environmental management systems, and are taking steps that are in compliance with this standard.

The head office factory was certified in January 1999, and by February 2001, the Miyakoda factory, where we manufacture our electronic pianos and electronic organs; Roland DG and Roland SG, both Roland affiliates; and Roland Taiwan Electronic Music Corp, Roland's manufacturing company in Taiwan, have been certified for this standard.
