VH-12 High-sensitivity sensor that tracks continuous sound changes
During development of the VH-12 V-Hi-Hat, extensive research and development was poured into in the pursuit of the ideal triggering function. As a result, high-sensitivity, special-purpose sensors were built into the bow and edge sections of the top high-hat and at the center of the cymbal, which is the point of action for the pedal. Three types of sensor operate in complete sync to detect complex trigger signals such as those that tell how far the cymbals have opened. This enables the faithful expression of even continuous sound changes that characterize the hi-hat.
VH-11 Technologically advanced floating V-Hi-Hat
The design of the VH-11 is based on a new concept that integrates the top and bottom technology of the V-Hi-Hat. The major characteristic of this is the pedal-operated vertical high-hat movement that was developed to create a realistic feel and movement. The ingenious combination of sensors in the cymbal bow and edge sections with the pedal position-detection unit located in the cymbal receptacle enables all pedal nuances to be expressed.
