Every detail of the new V-Drums kit has been analyzed and enhanced, including the hardware. The MDS-25, which supports the entire V-Pro series, is the new flagship drum rack. It features an attractive chrome finish, improved stability with a lower center of gravity, and enhanced flexibility, which enables a broad range of setup styles. The MDS-25 and MDS-12BK feature "cable-inside-pipe" construction that eliminates the hassle and mess associated with traditional cable setups. The jacks are conveniently labeled for easy connection, and the outlets on the holders have been enlarged and outfitted with rubber sleeves for cable protection. The clamps that hold the pads and cymbals in place have been designed to improve the retention of your settings. The aluminum die-cast clamps used in MDS-25 incorporate a nylon sleeve that connects to the pipe for a stronger grip and scratch prevention. A convenient component of the MDS-25 is a memory lock on its two front holders for consistent setup and added grip. In addition, the newly designed rubber feet improve the stability of the overall stand as well as prevent unwanted slipping. The MDS-25 and MDS-9 incorporate a ball-clamp system that lets you easily change angles for creating the ideal setup. With the MDS-25's cymbal mounts, you can insert the boom arm into the pipe to transformthe stand from boom to straight. You can also mount cymbals on tom holders for added flexibility.
